We enjoy spending time in our classroom library or visiting the school library. Reading to children is so important for their growth. Reading stimulates part of a child's brain to grow and be more active. Reading to a child broadens their vocabulary and strengthens their comprehension ability. Through reading, children develop empathy, build confidence and expand their imagination.
Next weekend, students in grades 4-8 will be performing in our spring musical A Disney Spectacular. Shows are at 7:30 pm on Friday, March 18, and Saturday, March 19. Tickets are $10.00 each. You can purchase them online here through Tuesday, March 15, and they will be available at the door as well.
Please sign up for Parent/Teachers conferences that will be held on March 24 and 25. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0c4bada62ca6fd0-nursery3 Please indicate in the comment if you would like to have your conference in person or via Zoom.

On Tuesday, the early childhood students welcome Mr. John Touhill, father of Aubree (N3), and Mr. Matt Valeri, father of Sophia (N2), for a hands-on STEM presentation on water quality. The students learned about the importance of clean water and pH levels. The children were able to test the pH levels of several different liquids using both pH testing strips and electrochemical meters to determine their acidity. The students loved working like real scientists!
We are so grateful to Mr. Touhill and his company, ThermoFisher Scientific, for providing us with this wonderful opportunity. They also treated us to a delicious snack of soft pretzels and applesauce and each child went home with a Nalgene water bottle as well.
