October 26-30

In STEAM we read Jack and the Beanstalk and then tried to make our own beanstalk with blocks and shaving cream.

The shaving cream clean up.  Hands up!

Pumpkin Exploration

We talked about what we thought a pumpkin would look, feel and smell like prior to cutting it open.

We removed the seeds and the pulp.

Mr. Hartsock even joined in on the fun!

The Pre-K class invited us to join in on their Science fun this week.

We helped them make elephant toothpaste!!!

We mixed dish soap, yeast, warm water and hydrogen peroxide to cause a exothermic reaction.  It was so cool!!!

Mr. Hartsock joined in the fun again!!!!

November is All Religions month at HCA. If you or someone you know would be willing to share with a class, a division, or multiple groups either in person, via zoom, or through a pre recorded clip, please email jmyers@holychildacademy.com , and we will make it as easy as possible.

Looking forward, December is All Families month, and January is Native Heritage month. Please email jmyers@holychildacademy.com if you have any ideas.
