September is about learning the ropes, meeting new friends, and settling into a new routine.

Outside Play
We will go outside everyday weather permitting. Please make sure your child is wearing sneakers and appropriate clothing.
Scholastic Books order forms went home this week.
If you would like to order books you may do so by filling out the form and sending it back to school OR you may order online using our class code which can be found on the back of the order form. Orders due by September 18th.
We visited the HCA Library this week. Each cycle we will visit the library to read a story and take books out for our classroom. Library books will not be sent home.
Play Dough is a really great exercise to strengthen a child's pincer grasp and fine motor skills. We used the play dough to roll, pinch and twist it into silly faces.
In Nursery 3 we are a family. We take care of ourselves, our classroom and our friends. We signed our "Class Contract" stating that we will do just that.

**HCA operates on a 6 day cycle. The day can be found on the HCA calendar located on our website.
-SCHOOL BEGINS AT 7:50. PLEASE BE ON TIME.
-If you have not done so, please return all forms as soon as possible.
-Please LABEL everything.
-Do not send in (toy) items from home unless it is something that has been discussed. We can not be responsible for toys that get misplaced or broken.
